 近日,围绕农产品的农药残留会对人体造成巨大危害的议论,农业部种植业管理司副司长周普国表示,食用含有农药残留的农产品是否安全取决于农药的残留量、毒性和食用的量。各国在制定农药残留限量标准时,增加了至少100倍的安全系数,因此,残留量低于标准是安全的,可以放心食用。(6月11日《人民日报》)
   农药残留:在农业生产中施用农药后一部分农药直接或间接残存于谷物、蔬菜、果品 、畜产品、水产品以及土壤和水体中的现象。残留农药直接通过植物果实或水、大气到达人、畜体内,或通过环境、食物链最终传递给人、畜。
  农药残留限量:世界卫生组织和联合国粮农组织(WHO/FAO)对农药残留限量的定义为,按照良好的农业生产(GAP)规范,直接或间接使用农药后,在食品和饲料中形成的农药残留物的最大浓度。首先根据农药及其残留物的毒性评价,按照国家颁布的良好农业规范和安全合理使用农药规范,适应本国各种病虫害的防治需要,在严密的技术监督下,在有效防治病虫害的前提下,在取得的一系列残留数据中取有代表性的较高数值。它的直接作用是限制农产品中农药残留量,保障公民身体健康。
